Raven Collection – Art Statement

 

The Sought/Raven Collection emerged from the shadows of memory and instinct—a ritual of returning to the wild, untamed essence of the feminine self. Cast directly from haunted bones found in nature, and adorned with mystical pearls, each piece carries the imprint of the unknown: the things we’ve abandoned, the things that linger in dream, and the things that ache to speak through the body.

 

The raven, as a symbol, a messenger, a trickster, a guardian of transformation. It has long stood at the threshold between death and rebirth, between prophecy and silence. In this collection, it becomes the embodiment of the feminine torso as a site of emotional reflection and physical confrontation—where the rational mind dissolves into visceral memory and intuitive power.

 

 

I began with the materials—nature-led forms, textures that breathe, surfaces that resist polish. “The cold nature of haunted bones. The wet gleam of a pearl. As they touched the body, they told their stories.

 

 

The Raven Collection is not about taming the feminine—it’s about revealing her. Irresistible, seductive, violent, judgmental, intuitive, and mystical. These pieces are not meant to please—they are made to remind, confront, and empower. To wear one is to stand inside your contradiction, and to do so with grace and unapologetic power.

 

This was the project where I stepped into my highest confrontation with the self. A journey not just of design, but of becoming.
